Projects (FAQs)

As a freelancer, you can send proposals to projects that match your skills. You can then communicate with potential clients and interview for the contracts you applied to. If you and the client agree on terms, you—as the contractor—can start working on the project.

You can withdraw a proposal at any time before the project closes. If the project has already closed and you still want to withdraw, you can contact support to have the proposal removed.

Credits are the currency on LiloWork used to apply for projects. Most projects require 1 credit; however, larger projects may require more than 1 credit to apply.

Larger projects can be divided into milestones, allowing funds to be released as the project progresses. For example, a milestone might be set when the project reaches 50% completion—at that point, the employer can release a partial payment, with the remaining funds released upon final project completion.
